Putting a hand on the stunned Pleht's back, Brudil offers comfort.
Brudil: Hey, no one but me saw that.
Pleht: ...
She picks him up and holds him under her arm. She looks up at the vine.
Brudil: Well... guess I'm carrying us up.
Pleht: ...
Climbing up, there is a hole in the ceiling they go to.
Brudil: *Grunt* Alright, almost there...
Pleht: ...
Gently stepping onto solid floor again, Brudil peers into the dark.
Brudil: Ugh, wish I brought a...
Magic sparks (and "flick" SFX) herald a light off-panel.
Brudil: ...light?
Indeed, Pleht flicked his thumb to create flame. He seems happy with himself.
Brudil: Man, when that magic of yours works, it works!
Pleht: Thank you.

I genuinely wonder how far one or the other might have made it alone. I don't want it to seem too much like one of them is dragging the other down.

On a lighter note (heh), I'm liking using more than two tones for tinting/shading; that might be better for sharper light/dark contrasts going forward.
