As the Red Slugfolk stares in shock, Brudil looks on, hurt.
Brudil: "Monster"...
She points accusingly, suddenly pulling the Red Slugfolk to the side.
Brudil: You lot were trying to kill us!
Red Slugfolk: Urk!
The Yellow Slugfolk sneers.
Yellow Slugfolk: And you were not going to kill US?!
Brudil: We're just here to stop Duke Corpus!
As the two argue, Pleht is creeping from behind the Yellow Slugfolk, peering over one of the vines of the carnivorous plant.
Pleht (thinking): That's it... keep him talking...
Yellow Slugfolk: He protects us from the likes of you!
The carnivorous plant grabs Pleht, much to his shock.
Pleht: GAH!
He's thrown across the room into an old bookshelf (with "SLAM!" SFX).
Pleht: Oof!
As he lies there dazed, the bookshelf shakes behind him (with "WOBBLE" SFX).
To his suddenly lucid surprise, an old purple vase drops onto his stomach (with "THUD!" SFX).
