I've mentioned before that I like it when the heroes meet in the middle of danger, but it's important to help the relationship grow by having them deal with the peril together!
Think of it as a team-building exercise run by someone who hates you.
Pleht: Sounds like something a mockman would say!

They both stop, hearing a loud CRASH! (with appropriate SFX) from beyond the doorway.
Brudil goes to investigate, axe in hand, while Pleht peers nervously from behind the door.
Brudil sees another door open to a blue-walled room, just barely catching another Slugfolk darting out of view.
She steps into the doorway.
Brudil: If this is those two guys, you already tried an ambush! Give it up already!
Pleht: What is she...?
