The comic jumps between Pleht and Brudil's situations.
Pleht and Slugfolk: O-oh, sorry...
Pleht turned to see the ladybug, who shields its eyes from Pleht's magic flame.
Ladybug: SKREE!
Pleht: Didn't mean to blind you.
Slugfolk (pointing at the Bandaged Slugfolk): It was his idea.
Pleht reaches into his coat again, dropping his flint with the other hand and extinguishing the flame.
Ladybug: mrrrgh...
Pleht: Hey, c-calm down, boy...
Brudil is understandably angry at the two Slufgolk. Bandage Slugfolk glares at the other.
Brudil: Seriously, what's your problem?
Bangaged Slugfolk: Really?
Slugfolk: Heh, sorry. I panicked.
Pleht pulls out a ladle, but it drops to the floor (with "CLANG!" SFX).
Ladybug: chttr?
Pleht: Here, look at this floating or- oops!
Brudil gets tackled by Bandaged Slugfolk (with "BAM!" SFX), hard enough for her bucket helmet to go flying.
Brudil: I mean, if you're gonna ambush me-- OOF!
Pleht kneels down to pick the ladle up as the annoyed ladybug watches, while Brudil pushes against Bandaged Slugfolk, her hand reaching back for the axe.
Pleht and Brudil both groan.
Ladybug: hiss...

5 – Double Creature Feature

Here we get to see both of our heroes as they face their first enemies.

I imagine Pleht is generally better with animals than Brudil is, though monsters like that ladybug of course still rattle him.

Also, in Procreate, this was where I started improving my layer management. Here are my general steps from this point onward (refined over time):

  1. Make a very rough sketch of what I want to do.
  2. Draw the panels but not the contents.
  3. Set the dialogue.
  4. Make improved sketches over the panels (I recommend a different color for each row; special thanks to Mecchan for the idea).
  5. Make lineart and merge with the panels.
  6. Make sure the dialogue is placed appropriately and make speech bubbles.
  7. Color and shade.

Hope this helps you out!
